DELL XPS L502X Intermittent WIFI Connection Drop

I just spent closed to an hour trying to determined why my new Dell XPS model number L502X was sporadically losing its Wif connection. I believe it is because this laptop comes configured to used 802.11n mode. This wireless mode enables speeds of 100 mbs. By disabling this setting, under device manager, network, Intel Wifi Link 1000 BGN, advance, the problem may have been fixed.

While researching this, I was thinking: man a MacBook Pro would not have this problem. But it is a different system though, with its other problems... Because the Mac is vertically integrated, it tends to be easier to use, though costs more...

Aside from these minor glitches, so far the laptop is doing OK.
